The majority of epilators can be useful for legs and under arms. Accessories, in particular are for the face. I will be going into the individual parts below:
The facial cap is useful for the facial area. It can also be useful for the eyebrow area if you know how to do it. This is one area I haven’t NOT been able to manage. It has the added benefit for using this for your bikini area (being a brazilian). Some epilators are gentle enough to go into these delicate areas.
The sensitive cap, sometimes called precision cap is for sensitive areas. Its uses are most targeting areas such as underarms, bikini or a brazillian. We all know it’s the most sensitive when epilating this area.
We all know that the shaver head & trimmer cap is the most popular out of all the accessories. This is the most useful cap when hair is a bit too long and/or painful to remove. You are able to trim the hair back first, then go over it with the epilator itself – a win-win situation.
The efficiency cap allows the epilator to make better contact with the skin. This equals quick epilating time. The manufacturer recommends that you switch to this cap for quicker results. Like the massage cap, this cap has the ability to pivot 15 degrees back and forth along the contours of the body.
The high-frequency massage cap equipped with pivoting head, adapts to the contours of the body. This attachment also has two rows of spiky rollers, helping to calm the skin for a gentler epilation.
The Braun Silk Epil 7 & Braun Silk Epil 9 (as indicated) have all the above mentioned attachments. The Philips Satinelle is one that has the attachments as I have described above also. Others may or may not have all the attachments so be careful when making a decision.
